Childrens Music

"Worship the Lord with gladness, come before him with joyful songs." (Psalm 100:2).

The Children's Choir program runs mid-September through the end of May with a short break during January.  It offers a full-graded choir program of learning music and sharing what they've learned with their church family.  The children's choirs are an integral part of the Wednesday night Buzz program.

The Chapel Choir meets with , Director, in the choir room on Wednesday nights during Buzz from 6:30-7:30pm.  They become Worship Leaders instead of Worship Watchers, and it gives them a sense of usefulness to the whole Church.  Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade children study vocal techniques, music reading, and develop motor skills through established methods such as Orff and Kodaly.

The Carol Choir meets with Dr. Mary Louise Wilson, Director, in Room 110/111 on Wednesday nights during Buzz from 6:30-7:30pm.  Our 1st  and 2nd grade children develop aural and improvisational skills through movement, listening, and lots of singing.

The Cherub Choir will meet with , Director, in Room 116 on Wednesday nights during Buzz from 6:30-7:00pm.  Our 3- and 4-year-old preschoolers and kindergartners learn about concepts such as high-low, soft-loud, and fast-slow while having a fun time singing songs about Jesus.
